New York, United States: ReFlux Editions / Barbara Moore, 1985. Announcement for an artists’ book in the form of a collection of recipes put together by Barbara Moore. Originally conceived in 1965 while she was serving as editor at Dick Higgins’s Something Else Press, she collaborated with George Maciunas on the first take, though for a variety of reasons the project was shelved until after Maciunas death. When the manuscripts were unearthed in 1985, she felt compelled to finally make these “forgotten treasures” available. The book was designed by Brian Buczak, and featured a tipped in photographic print by Peter Moore on the cover. The list of contributors was large, while the majority of them was related to Fluxus. ‘Participants’ included: Olga Adorno, Elza Behrman, George Brecht, Frannie Breer, Remy Charlip, Philip Corner, Sari Dienes, Letty Eisenhauer, Robert Filliou, Albert M. Fine, Dick Higgins, Peter Hutchinson, Ray Johnson, Donna Jo Jones, Alison Knowles, Leokadija Maciunas (Maciunas’s mother), John Herbert McDowell, Nam June Paik, Carolee Schneemann, Elka Schumann, Chieko (Mieko) Shiomi, Minnie Snyder, Daniel Spoerri, Lissa Streeter, Robert Watts, Emmett Williams, Ann Wilson, May Wilson, Phyllis Yampolsky and La Monte Young.
