self-published, 2014. Tallinn; [Poland], 28,5x21 cm. Softcover. English. 95 pp.

Single monographic issue of this cult, radical magazine. Brainchild of Karol Radziszewski this artists' magazine acts both as an archive of the underground queer scene of the Central and Eastern Europe and an artistic platform. Through each instalment of the periodical, previously undocumented histories of LGBTQ communities in the former Eastern Bloc are unearthed providing rare insight into unknown territory. Issue nr. 9 is focused on Czechoslovakia which according to Radziszewski was the most tolerant country in the region. Once again a treasure of archival material is compiled. One of the highlights of the issue include an account of Allen Ginsberg's first visit to Prague when he flew in from Cuba on an unplanned trip and the tumultuous events of King of May celebration of the same year involving Ginsberg. Numbered edition of 500 copies. Long sold out as all previous issues of the magazine with earlier ones like this becoming exceedingly scarce. Near Fine.
