Germany: Verden Studio: Atelier Niedersachsen Photographer: - Highly unusual esoteric CDV photograph backmark from Atelier Niedersachsen. Features an intricate, stylized composition of highly charged symbols of the Germanic folklore like the crossed twin horse heads (Hengist and Horsa), the solar disc (Sonnenrad) and the nested triangles motif. An interestting piece of paralipomena consistent with the flourishing of occultism in Central Europe and especially Germany during the first decades of the 20th century. Excellent antique condition.
